The School Day

School runs from 8.45am to 3.15pm. Assembly and Playtimes are divided by year groups. The school will also offer breakfast and after school clubs. Enrichment activities will happen as a part of the curriculum and voluntarily through after school clubs.

The gates to the playground are unlocked at 8:40am.

Here, families are welcome to assemble until the doors to school open at 8:45am.  Teachers will be on the doors from 8:45am until around 8:55am to welcome the children and meet with you should you have any messages to pass on.  Children should be accompanied by a parent or carer until they are safely in school.

On our first day of any child starting school, they can come through the main office entrance to be met by the Headteacher.

The register is taken from 8:55am and all children should be in school by then.  At this time, all doors from the playground are closed, gates locked and families should report to the main Reception to be signed in late.  The gates will be opened again at 3.15pm for children to be picked up at 3.15 pm.

Getting to School

To get to and from school, walking or riding is definitely the best option! We do have cycle racks outside the front of the school where you can lock up bicycles and scooters. If you have to drive to school it is best to park on Great Oldbury Drive at the top of the school road. Please be considerate to our neighbours if you park in any of the surrounding roads. Also, if you drive, please be courteous and find a safe place to park which is not on pavements in front of the school.

Please note that the school car park is for the use of staff members only. Parents are not permitted to drop-off or collect their children using the school drive for safety reasons.
