Meet the Team

Mrs Hall – Head Teacher

Mrs Hall is the Head Teacher at Great Oldbury Primary Academy. She is an established senior leader within the GLA Trust. Mrs Hall has experience teaching and leading in both pre school and Early Years and also works as an Early Years moderator for our Trust.

In her spare time, Mrs Hall enjoys walking her three dogs, Riley, Ralph and Ronnie, in the countryside near where she lives. She also enjoys spending time with her family.

Our ethos is underpinned by our school vision, Dream, Believe, Achieve. Our school is ambitious for all. Our whole school community is actively encouraged to dream big and have the courage to make their dreams a reality. Our children are encouraged to think for themselves, to be problem solvers, be creative and imaginative and embrace new challenges. I look forward to welcoming you all to our school in September and meeting everyone very soon.

Miss Goodman - Early Years Lead and Reception Class Teacher

Miss Goodman is the Early Years Foundation Stage Lead and Reception class teacher. She is an experienced EYFS teacher and the EYFS Associate for the GLA Trust. Miss Goodman has experience teaching Pre-School, Reception and Year One in a variety of schools in Gloucestershire.

In her spare time, Miss Goodman loves to spend time with her family and friends, baking delicious cakes, dancing and getting stuck into some arts and crafts. Miss Goodman’s favourite colour is pink and you can be sure to find a hint of pink and glitter wherever she goes!

In EYFS at Great Oldbury we support our children in believing and achieving to their full potential, both academically and personally and in developing a love for learning. We support all our children; nurturing their individuality, celebrating their character and giving them the confidence to; Dream, Believe and Achieve. I cannot wait to welcome all our Little Learners and Reception children as we start our exciting learning journey together at our brand new school!
