Children In Need fundraising
Two of our Year 4 students have taken on an inspiring challenge to raise funds for Children in Need.
The girls decided to walk, run, and scoot their way to a goal of 25km before the appeal night this Friday. They've shown incredible dedication and determination throughout their journey, sometimes even walking around Great Oldbury in adorable Pudsey onesies and ears! It’s wonderful to see such spirit and commitment from our students.
Well done girls for your hard work and enthusiasm!

Children's mental health week
We have had a super and very busy last week of term. We have been busy celebrating Children's Mental Health week and have learnt a song all about expressing the different emotions we might all feel sometimes. We have also learnt the Makaton signs to sing our song as part of this year's theme 'Your voice matters.' We hope you enjoy our song!
In PSHE we have learnt the importance of talking about our feelings and how we can help ourselves and others to keep a happy and healthy mind and body and the importance of remembering to always be kind to ourselves and others.

The children had the opportunity to feed some of the birds, look at real life parts of birds and investigate how feathers are waterproof. We then looked around visiting the otters, birds from North America and Hawaii. The Slimbridge staff complimented how well the children behaved and the fantastic knowledge and questions they displayed. We are unbelievably proud of them all! Here's to the next trip!!

A HUGE well done to Reception for your fantastic Nativity performance last week. We are all SO proud of you! You all sang beautifully and worked so hard to join in with all the songs and actions. We enjoyed performing to our friends and families, but also to Little Learners and our other staff and teachers. We had a raving review from this year's Christmas performance critic - Mr Christmas himself, Barry, saying it was "toe tapping good!" What higher praise could you ask for?! Well done, Reception, you smashed it!! What super stars you all are!
